Abstract
V poskus smo vključili štiri obravnavanja: škropljenje dreves s pripravkom Tytanit, škropljenje dreves s pripravkoma Tytanit+Optysil, škropljenje dreves s pripravkom Optysil in kontrolo, kjer dreves nismo škropili z navedenima pripravkoma.

Influence of silicon and titanium on the quantity and quality of peaches (Prunus persica L.), cv. 'Redhaven' |
Secondary abstract: |
Peach production in Slovenia is declining. With experiment, we wanted to determine the effects of silicon and titanium biostimulants on the quantity and quality of peaches (Prunus persica L.) cultivar 'Redhaven'. The research was conducted in 2019 at the Horticultural Centre of the Biotechnical Faculty in Primorska region. Four treatments were included in the experiment: spraying the trees with Tytanit, spraying the trees with Tytanit+Optysil, spraying the trees with Optysil and a control where the trees were not treated. In each treatment, we measured height, width, thickness and weight of the fruit, fruit firmness, the content of soluble solids and titratable acids, the weight of the stone and the parameters of the ground and covered colour of the fruit. We found that the yield was higher only by spraying with Optysil. The largest fruits (height, width, thickness) were harvested from Tytanit treatment trees. The highest fruit firmness was measured in the combination of Tytanit+Optysil. We also found that there were no differences in the soluble solids content between individual treatments. The lower titratable acids content was influenced by Optysil, and the combination of Tytanit+Optysil increased the titratable acids content. The results are the result of a one-year experiment. Therefore, the experiment would need to be repeated in several years. |
