Abstract

Secondary title: Automation of a roller table for sorting the boxes
Secondary abstract: Dissertation describes the automation process of a roller table for sorting the boxes. The whole table is a real industrial application in a compact size and is designed to be used for educating people in a safe environment. The whole project is designed to be as close to a real industrial application as possible. This includes the construction, used components and safety requirements. It demonstrates the use of pneumatics, relay logic and the more modern approach with the use of a programmable logic controller Siemens. This project describes the design, fabrication and automation process.
