Abstract

Prehrana spada med ključne dejavnike trenutnega in kasnejšega zdravja. Ljudje se vse bolj zavedamo pomena prehrane in načinov prehranjevanja. S pravilno prehrano podpiramo delovanje našega telesa in njegovo odpornost. Stabilno zdravstveno stanje nam zagotavljajo prav ustrezna in uravnotežena prehrana, redna telesna dejavnost ter ravnovesje uma, čutov in zavesti. Prehransko stanje ni le pomemben zdravstveni dejavnik, temveč je povezano tudi z učinkovitostjo fizioterapevtske obravnave vsakega pacienta. Informiranje in izobraževanje s strani zdravstvenih delavcev je bistvenega pomena v času rehabilitacije. Potrebni so spodbuda za telesno dejavnost, izboljšanje prehranskih navad in skrb za pacienta. Fizioterapevt mora biti predstavnik zdravega prehranjevanja in s tem pozitivno ustrezne prehranske navade, saj le-to privede do dobre in uspešno zaključene rehabilitacije. Rezultati raziskav dokazujejo, da je ustrezna prehranska obravnava ključnega pomena v procesu zdravljenja in klinične rehabilitacije. Prehranska podpora pacientom in uporabnikom fizioterapevtskih storitev omogoča uspešno fiziološko regeneracijo telesa.

Secondary abstract: Nutrition is one of the key factors of our current and future health. People are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of nutrition and eating habits. The benefits of proper nutrition can support the functioning of our body and its resilience. A stable state of health is guaranteed by appropriate and balanced nutrition, regular physical activity and the balance of our mind, senses and consciousness. The nutritional status is not only an important factor in terms of health, but it is also related to the effectiveness of patients’ physiotherapy treatment. It is essential that health workers are well informed and educated about the process during rehabilitation. Patients must be encouraged to be physically active and to improve their nutrition. During the rehabilitation, they must be cared for appropriately. The physiotherapist must advocate healthy eating and proper eating habits as this leads to successfully and effectively implemented rehabilitation. Research finds that proper nutritional treatment is crucial for the treatment and clinical rehabilitation and that it ensures patients and the users of physiotherapy services successful physiological regeneration.
