Secondary title: | Non-destructive testing of diving cylinders |
Secondary abstract: | Regular inspection of the condition of diving pressure vessels is crucial for safety. Depending on the operating conditions, their volume and operating pressure, such pressure vessels are classified as equipment with a high level of danger. Therefore they require thorough non-destructive periodic inspections. Hydrostatic pressure testing is most commonly used to test the strength of diving pressure vessels made of aluminum or steel and other composite materials. It enables fast and low cost execution with sufficient assessment of the strength and tightness of the pressure vessel, without breaking the base material. The degree thesis will describe various testing methods without breaking the material. The implementation and evaluation of the results of the control of the diving pressure vessel after the hydrostatic pressure testing procedure will be presented. |
