Abstract

V diplomskem delu je predstavljena implementacija kartografske storitve za področje Slovenije. Cilj je zasnova in izdelava storitve, ki omogoča pridobiti zemljevid točno določenega območja in točno določene velikosti (resolucije). Implementacija je potekala dvonivojsko tako, da se je prototip izdelal v programskem jeziku Python, končna rešitev pa v programskem jeziku C++. Strežnik storitve arhitekturnega stila REST se je izdelal s tehnologijo Node.js. Za streženje se je uporabil ortofoto zemljevid Slovenije. Na koncu se je še performančno ovrednotila razlika med prototipom in končno rešitvijo. Z diplomskim delom se je razvila lastna kartografska storitev, ki bo v veliko pomoč pri drugih projektih, kateri so bili do sedaj odvisni od javnih strežnikov.

Secondary abstract: This Bachelor's Thesis describes the implementation of web map service for area of Slovenia. The goal was to design and produce a service which allows us to get a map of specific area and specific size (resolution). The implementation took place at two levels, with prototype done in the Python programming language, and the final solution in the C++ programming language. The REST service server was created with Node.js technology. An orthophoto map of Slovenia was used for serving. In the end, the difference between the prototype and the final solution was evaluated in terms of performance. With this Thesis our own cartographic service was developed, which will help in other projects that have been so far depended on public servers.
