Abstract

Secondary title: Non-governmental organizations at the time of the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic
Secondary abstract: A review of the activities of non-governmental, non-profit organizations in the unique case of the COVID-19 epidemic in the master's thesis will show the relevance of this topic for social work and open the problem of state readiness for virus outbreaks and the necessary support of NGOs in state laws, and the lack of help for those people who are most at risk during the outburst of epidemic. The task is relevant for all professional profiles dealing with vulnerable groups of people, as it shows a new way of developing skills, developing individuals and opening new opportunities for different groups of people. The purpose of this task is to show how the organizations operated during the state of emergency and in which areas they will need the help of the formal authority. It would make sense to include such types of NGOs in a program that would provide for the involvement of NGOs in activities in the strategic plan / organization and in projects to help and support vulnerable groups of people in emergency conditions.
