Abstract

V magistrskem delu raziskujem percepcijo študentk in študentov do spoznavanja partnerjev prek spleta, pri čemer se specifično posvetim tistim, ki uporabljajo spletno aplikacijo Tinder. Spoznavanje partnerjev dandanes poteka drugače kot včasih, zmenki so se v veliki meri preselili na splet, vzporedno s tem pa prihaja tudi do sprememb pri dojemanju intimnosti. Če je bila v modernosti zakonska zveza edina družbeno sprejemljiva oblika partnerskega odnosa,se v pozni modernosti s pojavom serijske monogamije in družbenih sprememb v intimnosti inseksualnosti pomeni partnerstva in intimnosti, pa tudi prakse spoznavanja partnerjev, povsem spremenijo, k temu pa so v zadnjih dveh desetletjih prispevale tudi nove tehnologije. V teoretičnem delu naloge obravnavam pomembna področja sprememb intimnosti, dojemanja ljubezni in spletnih aplikacij za zmenke v pozni modernosti. Vsa tri področja so bila ključna pri raziskovanju obravnavane teme. Empirični del temelji na kvalitativni raziskavi, ki sem jo opravila z desetimi študenti in s katero sem na osnovi analize intervjujev skušala identificirati vzorce intimnosti, vzroke, zaradi katerih se poslužujejo spletnega iskanja partnerjev, in njihove izkušnje s spletno aplikacijo Tinder.

Secondary title: The students' perception of the new ways of meeting partners with the help of the Tinder application
Secondary abstract: In the master's thesis I research the student's perception of meeting partners online, and I focus specifically on those who are using the online application Tinder. Nowadays, meeting partners is a very different process than before, because the dating has transferred online, and at the same time, we notice that the comprehension of intimacy is changing too. Only a few decades ago, marriage was the only socially accetaple form of a partnership, but with the apperance of new technologies, new conditions for forming new ways of meeting partners have been created. In the theoretical part, I discuss the important areas of changes in intimacy, comprehension of love and online dating applications. All three areas were of key importance when researching the discussed topic. The empirical part is based on qualitative research, which I have done with ten students of both genders. On the basis of analysis of the interviews with the students, I have discovered their patterns of intimacy, the causes for choosing to search for partners online, and their experience with the online application Tinder.
