Secondary title: | Usage of active elements for providing proper voltage profiles in distribution networks |
Secondary abstract: | The goal of this master's thesis is to evaluate the suitability of the active network elements and the network user’s energy flexibility services in providing appropriate voltage profiles and preventing congestion in distribution networks. Based on BFS (Backward Forward Sweep) load flow computation method, the case studies are performed for a discussed distribution network, where the measurement results were available. Our observation is focused on the technical acceptability of solutions that can provide an appropriate voltage profile and prevent the overloading of network elements in the most demanding operating conditions in the discussed distribution network. |
