Abstract

Secondary abstract: This paper analyses the translation process of legal texts of the European Union into Slovene, from the accession process before 2004 up until the present. Stylistic analysis of EU texts shows how changing forms resulted in a special text type of EU legal acts with their own norms supported by the use of machine translation. The process of normalisation was necessary due to the nature of legal texts.
