Abstract

Secondary abstract: The M.Sc. thesis deals with Slovenians attitude towards online shopping. I am interested in these area because In Slovenia has been an increase in internet shopping over the past years. So, I see a lot off potential in this type of shopping and I decided to learn more about this topic. In the theoretical part, I wrote about concept of electronic commerce, development and areas of electronic commerce, concept of online shop, developmet of online shop, Customer generation, taypes of products, components of online store, customers' trust, benefits and weak points of online shopping and rights and instructions for online shopping. For my research, I conducted eight half-structured interviews among Slovenian online buyers. All of them get ten similar questions, addressing in particular reasons for online shopping, the most common reason for online shopping, frequency of purchase, online safety, confidence in online shopping, location of shopping, products and methods of payment. At the end follows the empirical part. In this part I introduced the results of may analysis. We can see, that Slovenian shoppers prefer shopp in Slovenian on line stores. Nuber of purchases is very diferent. Some shoppers buyed occasionally and others more often. Slovenian customers as well take care of their internet security themselves.
