Abstract

Teoretični del diplomskega dela zajema poglavja o značilnostih družine in glasbe v družini. Posebna pozornost je namenjena poglavju o glasbenih dejavnostih v vrtcu oziroma glasbeni dejavnosti petja pesmi. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela so prikazani rezultati raziskave. Z javnimi pevskimi nastopi v vrtcu petje le še dodatno spodbujajo in otrokom s tem omogočijo, da premagajo morebitni strah pred nastopanjem.

Secondary title: Reproductive singing in the family and kindergarten
Secondary abstract: Music is very important already in the preschool period. Encouragements from the environment, in the kindergarten and in the family, are crucial for the development of the child's musical abilities, since in the opposite case, they do not develop. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of chapters about the characteristics of the family and music in the family. Special attention is devoted to the chapter of musical activities in the kindergarten or to the musical activity of singing songs. The empirical part of the thesis presents the results of the research. The results were obtained with two survey questionnaires, which were filled out in five kindergartens from the Podravje region. One survey questionnaire was intended for parents and the other for educators of preschool children. The purpose of the thesis was to identify the presence of reproductive singing in the family of the preschool child and in the kindergarten. We found that song singing in the kindergarten and family is still to a large extend present today and that at home, parents sing a lot of songs that children learned in the kindergarten. This is positive, since educators are aware of the importance of singing of quality songs and are paying attention to certain elements in the selection of songs. Parents and educators are aware of the importance of encouraging children to sing. With public singing performances in the kindergarten they additionally encourage singing and thus allow the children to overcome the possible fear of performing.
