magistrsko delo
Abstract
Dijake smo anketirali z mersko validiranim vprašalnikom »odnos do športa/športne vzgoje-MP-O-U« avtorjev Koprivnjak in Ambrožič.
Podatke smo obdelali s pomočjo statističnega programa SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science).

Comparison of attitude towards sport amongst students of sport programmes at secondary school Gimnazija Murska Sobota and secondary school Gimnazija Šiška |
Secondary abstract: |
This Master's thesis discusses the attitude towards sports among students of sport programmes from two different regions (secondary school Gimnazija Murska Sobota and secondary school Gimnazija Šiška). We were interested in how students' attitudes towards sports are reflected in relation to the region in which they go to school and participate in sports.
188 students who attended sport programmes in 2019/2020 participated in the study. The sample included 159 male and female students from secondary school Gimnazija Šiška and 29 male and female students from secondary school Gimnazija Murska Sobota. We interviewed the students with a validated questionnaire "attitude towards sports/physical education-MP-O-U" by Koprivnjak and Ambrožič. Due to the situation related to the coronavirus epidemic, the survey was conducted via the web portal “1ka” and was anonymous for students.
Collected results were processed with the SPSS programme (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). We used the Mann–Whitney U test to test the hypotheses. In all hypothesis tests, statistical significance was determined at a five percent risk level.
We determined that male and female students of sport programmes of both secondary schools have, on average, a very positive attitude towards sports and physical education. They all expressed satisfaction with the sport programme and mostly agreed that it helps them progress in their sport. Visible differences between the two groups, separated according to school and gender, were small in almost all segments.
The differences we expected compared to previous comparable research, where various authors found that the living environment can be an important factor, were not expressed to a significant extent in our study. The reason could lie in the size of the sample or in the assessment that the lifestyle and possibilities for physical training between Ljubljana, as the centre of the country, and Murska Sobota, as a regional centre, do not differ so much. |
