magistrsko delo

Abstract

Secondary title: Effects of using wearable technologies as support for active aging
Secondary abstract: In the master's thesis, we determined the effects of wearable technologies as support for active aging. Persons over 45 years old participated in the study. The results showed that wearable technologies lead to an improvement in the physical fitness of individuals and thus serve as a support in active life. We also found that most users learns my themselves how to use wearable technologies, which is very encouraging information for a generation that didn't grow up with technology. It has also been shown that regular monitornih of data on wearables, leads to greater motivation for working out, which leads to more active life. The results obtaind in the master's thesis can be a good starting point for future research and a good base for preparation of education for the elderly on the use of wearable technologies.
