Matrica v aktualni grafični produkciji

Abstract

V magistrskem delu se posvetim pojmu matrica v aktualni grafični produkciji. Že dalj časa je namreč mogoče opaziti vprašanje na področju grafične umetnosti, in sicer kaj se dogaja s sodobno matrico in kaj to pomeni za sodobna grafična dela. Magistrsko delo je močno povezano tudi z mojim lastnim umetniškim ustvarjanjem, preko katerega želim najti tudi na takšen način odgovore na ta ista vprašanja. Teoretični del naloge je sestavljen iz raziskovanja, opisa, pojasnjevanja in prikazovanja sodobne matrice. Poleg tega pa me zanima tudi zakaj in od kdaj je mogoče opaziti takšne premike na področju grafične umetnosti. Menim, da je grafika močno povezana z napredkom ne samo v tehnologiji, pač pa tudi s celotno širšo družbeno sfero, kar želim s tem magistrskim delom tudi pokazati. Poleg opisa in obrazložitve različnih vrst matric, ki jih lahko opazimo v aktualni grafični produkciji, obravnavam tudi umetniška dela in umetnike, ki ustvarjajo pod vplivi določene vrste matrice. V empiričnem delu predstavim pojem knjiga umetnika. V nadaljevanju sledi opis in prikaz lastnega umetniškega ustvarjanja, ki je močno povezan tako s temo matrica kot tudi s sodobno grafiko, lastno knjigo umetnika z naslovom Ana. Zadnji del empiričnega dela pa vključuje analizo likovne delavnice in predstavitev izdelkov, v katerem sem vpeljala sodobno, eksperimentalno matrico tudi v pedagoško okolje. V sklepnem delu povzamem ključne ugotovitve in odgovore na raziskovalna vprašanja.

Secondary abstract:	In my master's thesis, I focus on the concept of the matrix in current printmaking production. For a long time now, it has been possible to observe the question in the field of graphic art, namely what is happening with the modern matrix and what it means for contemporary printmaking works. The master's thesis is also strongly connected with my own artistic work in the field of printmaking art, through which I want to find answers to these same questions in this way as well. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of researching, describing, explaining and presenting a modern current matrix. In addition, I am also interested in why and since when such shifts in the field of printmaking art can be observed. I believe that printmaking is strongly connected with progress not only in technology, but also with the entire wider social sphere, which I want to show with this master's thesis. In addition to describing and explaining the different types of matrices that can be observed in current printmaking production, I also deal with works of art and artists who create under the influence of a particular type of matrix. In the empirical part, I present the concept of the artist's book. The following is a description and presentation of my own art work, which is strongly related to the theme of the matrix as well as contemporary graphic art, the artist's book entitled Ana. The last part of the empirical work includes an analysis of an art workshop and a presentation of products, in which I introduced a modern, experimental matrix into the pedagogical environment. In the concluding part, I summarize the key findings and answers to research questions.
