Abstract
Prevladujoče podobe ideologije v sodobni likovni umetnosti so predvsem tri. To so ideologija trgovine oz. tržnega gospodarstva, nato ideologija neoliberalnega, navidezno demokratičnega kapitalizma, in ideologija vojne kot agresivnega reševanja kakršnegakoli nesoglasja in razlik. Te tri ideološke sile, ki uravnavajo svet, bom predstavil na izbranih delih slovenskih avtorjev: slikarja Sama in Huiqin Wang, kiparja Mirsada Begića in Vere Stanković ter fotografa Mete Krese in Matjaža Rušta. Mnoga njihova dela se kritično odzivajo na omenjene ideologije sodobnega sveta, saj so ti umetniki občutljivi opazovalci in aktivni likovni zapisovalci podob.

There are primarily three dominant images of ideology in the modern visual arts. These are the ideology of the market or market economy, followed by the ideology of neoliberal and ostensibly democratic capitalism, and the ideology of war as an aggressive solution for any kind of disagreement and differences. These three ideological forces that regulate the world are presented through selected works by Slovenian artists: the painters Samo and Huiqin Wang, the sculptors Mirsad Begić and Vera Stanković, and the photographers Meta Krese and Matjaž Rušt. Many of their works critically respond to these ideologies of the modern world because these artists are sensitive observers and active visual recorders of images. |
