živeta izkušnja študentov zakonske in družinske terapije
Abstract

Secondary abstract: |
The study uses interpretative phenomenological analysis to highlight the experience of personal growth and interpersonal relationships among students of marital and family therapy, training program at the Faculty of Theology in University of Ljubljana. Six participants described the process of personal growth during the study as an intense experience of different feelings that influenced their coping with themselves. During the proces of personal growth, they learned to regulate their senses and realized the importance of gentle self % care, something some encountered the first time. They also had experienced setting boundaries, that affected relationship toward themselves and interpersonal relationhips with important others. In interpersonal relationships, the integration of individuals personal growth is mainly reflected in greater understanding and accepting parents and families, setting clear boundaries, while in a partnership a new experience of relationship is already recognized that enable joint growth and development. In doing so, it is important to highlight the willingness of partners to cooperate, which makes growth much easier. The results enable the development guidelines for working with students in order to pay more attention to their experience and changes that are waking up in parallel with the study and are at the same time closely interwined with it. In doing so, the research is aware of the limitations and importance of further research. |
