magistrsko delo
Abstract
V magistrskem delu smo raziskovali vpliv vodnih izvlečkov navadne barvilnice (Phytolacca americana L.), japonskega dresnika (Fallopia japonica Houtt.) in peterolistne vinike (Parthenocissus quinquefolia Planch) na kalice sivozelenega muhviča (Setaria pumila L.).

Potentially allelopathic effects of invasive alien plants leaf extracts on growth of selected ruderal species |
Secondary abstract: |
In the master's thesis we investigated potential effect of American pokeweed (Phytolacca americana L.), Japanese pokeweed (Fallopia japonica Houtt.) and Vigrinia creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia Planch) waterous leaf extracts on Yellow foxtail (Setaria pumila L.). We researched whether waterous extracts have negative impact on growth of Yellow foxtail seedlings and if concentrations of leaf pigments differ among young and mature, senescened leaves. After four-week treatment with 0,1, 1 or 10 % leaf extracts from above mentioned invasive species, we measured each seedling shoot height and root length. We also weigthed raw and dry mass for shoots and roots separately. We found out that lowest average measurements were observed during treatments with American pokeweed, regardless of leaves age. The only variable was concentration of the waterous extracts. |
