Abstract

Uporabljena je deskriptivna in kavzalno-ne eksperimentalna metoda. Pri raziskavi smo uporabili šest motoričnih testov, analizator sestave telesa in tenziometrijsko ploščo, s katero smo izmerili višino skoka v višino.

Secondary title: The role of certain motor abilities in high jump during preschool period
Secondary abstract: The aim of the thesis bearing the title The Role of Certain Motor Abilities in High Jump during Pre-school Period was to investigate the question of how balance, coordination and explosive power influence the execution of a high jump. The goal of the research was not only to determine the influence of the above-mentioned motor abilities on the execution of the jump, but also to establish how muscle and fat mass affect the balance and the explosive power of the legs. We conducted an empirical research with the participation of 75 pre-school children with the age of 5 and 6, whereby the descriptive and causal-nonexperimental method was applied. For the purpose of the research, we used six motoric tests, a body composition analyser and a tensiometric board to measure the height of the high jump. We concluded that the explosive power has a positive effect on the height of the jump and a negative connection to the body mass proportion. Furthermore, children with better developed coordination do not have a shorter reaction time with relevance to the high jump. Regarding balance, it has a negative influence on the thrust power of the take off as well as a negative connection to the body mass proportion.
