Abstract

Naloga predstavi problematiko prostora južnega dela slovenske obale in se podrobneje spoprijema s kulturno in turistično povezanostjo kraja Sečovlje ter revitalizacijo območja nekdanjega rudnika s sladkovodnim območjem Korea. Namen naloge je opozoriti na slabo povezanost kulturnih, naravnih in turističnih dejavnosti na južnem delu slovenske obale, natančneje v Sečoveljski dolini in revitalizirati območje opuščenega rudnika Sečovlje, ki bi lahko, zaradi svoje zgodovinske dediščine in območje Korea zaradi bogatih naravnih danosti, z dopolnitvijo turistično-rekreativnih dejavnosti, postalo središče južnega dela slovenske obale. Po analiziranju in ustvarjalnem procesu degradiranega območja rudnika Sečovlje in sladkovodnega območja se v nalogi predstavi izdelan načrt revitalizacije, ki temelji na ohranitvi arhitekturne dediščine rudnika in hkrati upošteva vse naravovarstvene smernice tega območja in njegove okolice. Vsebinsko naloga območje razdeli na več delov in ga hkrati oplemeniti z novim kulturno- izobraževalnim rekreativnim programom. Vsak del območja je karakterno podkrepljen z različnimi ambienti.

Secondary title: Revitalization of degraded coalmine Sečovlje area
Secondary abstract: The thesis presents issues of the southern part of the Slovenian coast and in more details deals with the cultural and tourist connections of Sečovlje and the revitalization of the former mine and freshwater area Korea, part of Krajinski park Sečoveljske soline. The purpose of the thesis is to draw attention to the poor connection of cultural, natural and tourist activities in the southern part of the Slovenian coast, more precisely in the Sečovlje valley and to revitalize the area of the abandoned Sečovlje mine. The area has the potential to become a touristic, recreational and cultural centre of the southern part of the Slovenian coast. After analysing and creative process of the degraded area of the Sečovlje mine and the freshwater area, the thesis presents a revitalization plan based on preserving the architectural heritage of the mine and taking into account all nature conservation guidelines. In terms of content, the task divides the area into several parts and at the same time enriches it with a new cultural, educational and recreational program. Each part of the area is characteristically underpinned by chilling atmospheres.
