Abstract

Diplomacija zastopa državo, pospešuje stike, razvija odnose, hkrati pa državo sprejemnico obvešča o dogajanjih glede matične države. Diplomacija skrbi za svoje državljane in njihove interese ter predstavlja pomembna stališča matične države pri mednarodnih organizacijah. Prav tako se vsaka država sama odloča, kje bo odprla svoja diplomatska, konzularna predstavništva ali predstavništva pri mednarodnih organizacijah, kakšna predstavništva bo odprla, v kakšni sestavi bodo delovala, še najbolj bistven del pa ostaja interes države, saj diplomacija vedno neposredno služi državi. Diplomsko delo ni namenjeno tekmovanju, katera diplomatska mreža je večja ali manjša, saj so države, ki bi imele predstavništva odprta v vseh državah, gotovo redke, poleg tega bi bilo to nesmiselno in predrago. Slovenija se je kot novonastala in majhna država bila primorana odločiti za racionalno diplomatsko mrežo. Države, primerljive s Slovenijo, imajo vzpostavljena diplomatska predstavništva le v izbranih pomembnejših državah in pri sosednjih državah, ali pa tam, kjer imajo vzpostavljen državni interes. Prostor ali področje, kjer ima Slovenija svoj zunanjepolitični in državni interes, je Srednja in Jugovzhodna Evropa, saj temu področju tudi pripada tako geografsko kot gospodarsko. V diplomskem delu bomo predstavili diplomacijo Republike Slovenije, opisali bomo njen pomen, vlogo in razdelili njeno organiziranost, v nadaljevanju pa opisali in primerjalno analizirali diplomatske mreže držav Avstrije in Hrvaške. Mreže bomo podrobneje preučili in jih med seboj primerjali. Največja pozornost bo osredotočena ravno na primerjalno analizo diplomatskih mrež in na ugotavljanje dejavnikov pri vzpostavljanju diplomatskih mrež. Na temelju podatkov, ki jih bomo pridobili s primerjalno analizo, bomo predstavili vpliv diplomatske mreže Republike Slovenije

Secondary abstract: Diplomacy represents the country, promotes contacts, develops relations, and at the same time informs the host country and notify it of developments regarding the country of origin. Diplomacy is responsible for its own citizens and their interests, and represents an important perspective of the home country to international organizations. Also, each country has to decide where it will open its diplomatic, consular missions or representations of international organizations, what representations will be opened to what the composition of the work, the most essential part remains the interest of the state, as diplomacy always serves the state directly. As a newly formed and small country, Slovenia was forced to decide on for a rational diplomatic network. The area where Slovenia has its own foreign policy and national interest is Central and SouthEastern Europe, as it also belongs to this area, both geographically and economically. We will present the diplomacy of the Republic of Slovenia, describe its importance, role and divide its organization, in the following we shall present and comparatively analyze the diplomatic networks of the countries of Austria and Croatia. We will examine the networks in more detail and compare them side by side. Maximum attention will be focused just on a comparative analysis of diplomatic networks and to identify factors in the establishment of diplomatic networks. Based on the obtained data, which will be obtained through a comparative analysis, we will present the influence of the diplomatic network of the Republic of Slovenia
