Abstract

Today in the world, it is found that half of all people on the planet, faced with a lack of drinking water reserves, about half live in substandard homes or no homes at all. 71% of the surface of our planet is covered with water, it is also known that life is closely related to water. Therefore, water is important not only for humans but also for other organizations. Climate change has led to water scarcity. This fact brings to attention the need for efficient use of water, as an essential element for life on earth. Rainwater collection and use has been widely used in the past for bathing, irrigation, and then for drinking. Therefore, the main purpose of this topic is to show the importance of rainwater management in Kosovo. The methodology used in this research are: Secondary and quantitative data collection methodology. The questionnaire was used as a research tool in this research. The questionnaire consists of questions related to demographic and water management questions. During our research we came to the conclusion that 63% of the research participants use rainwater for soil irrigation
