Abstract

Kadar glasbo poslušamo, jo doživljamo. Glasba v nas zbudi čustvene in fiziološke odzive.

Secondary title: Experiencing music while listening in the music arts course
Secondary abstract: When we listen to music, we experience it. Music evokes emotional and physiological responses in us. Emotions are those that trigger feelings, and experiencing music lets us know whether or not we like a particular piece of music. Listening to music, as a musical activity in the Art of Music subject, is crucial for students' development. Through guided listening to music, students develop their musical memory and focus on listening to a specific musical element. This requires good concentration, which the teacher encourages in the students by motivating them to listen to music. We can listen to music in different ways: experiential, analytical, and experiential-analytical. These ways of listening are necessary for the development of the student's skills of analytical perception, acceptance of different musical forms, aesthetic evaluation, and judgment. How we experience music is influenced by our current emotions as we listen, which are critical to our perception and understanding of music.
