Abstract

Magistrsko delo obravnava medijsko reprezentacijo nove gripe v Sloveniji, pri čemer ţelimo ugotoviti, v kolikšni meri, na kakšen način in s pomočjo katerih akterjev je poročanje o pandemiji nove gripe vplivalo na konstrukcijo medijske in s tem druţbene realnosti oziroma določene podobe dogodkov v izbranem časovnem obdobju. V ospredje postavljamo uveljavljanje odgovornosti mnoţičnih medijev pri oblikovanju druţbene percepcije nevarnosti in tveganj in izpolnjevanje obveznosti do civilne druţbe.

Secondary abstract: The Master thesis handles media representation of the new flu in Slovenia. The primary concern of this paper is to determine the extent to which, the way of it and by the help of which actors has the reporting on the new flu pandemics influenced the construction of the media and thus social reality. That is to what extent has the media reporting influenced certain image of the events in the chosen time period. We set the fore the exercise of mass media responsibility at designing the social perception of dangers and risks and at fulfilling the civil society engagements.
