diplomsko delo
Abstract

French politics on the Paris Peace Conference 1919–1920 from the perspective of the Slovene press |
Secondary abstract: |
The thesis presents the Slovene evaluation of French politics at the Paris Peace Conference as reported by the Slovene newspapers Slovenec and Slovenski narod, published in 1919 and in the first half of 1920. The main focus is on the assessment of the role of French diplomacy in the Italian-Yugoslav conflict and on France's actions regarding the Slovene northern border. Certain topics related to France, which are in the forefront in the daily newspapers, are also highlighted: the presentation of Slovene cultural and historical ties with France and the Slovene people's attitude towards the French press. The Slovene newspapers closely monitored and evaluated the reporting of the French press, which was subject to French censorship regarding the Adriatic question and was also influenced by Italian propaganda. |
