Abstract

Članke smo iskali po podatkovnih bazah: SAGE Journals, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Wiley in Cobiss. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo in metodo analize, sinteze ter komparacije. Za analizo podatkov smo uporabili vsebinsko analizo. Rezultati: Skupno smo našli 1529 in v končno analizo vključili osem člankov.

We searched for articles in international databases: SAGE Journals, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Wiley and Cobiss. The descriptive method and and the comparative method was used. For the data analysis, the content analysis was used. Results: We have found a total of 1529 articles, yet only eight were included in the analysis. Our findings show that spirituality is highly important for children with chronic non- inflammatory diseases. Children must receive compassionate spiritual care. Discussion and conclusion: The effect of spirituality on a child depends on the age of the child and the child’s awareness of spirituality. In addition, the spiritual awareness of the nursing staff is an essential factor in determining the effects of spirituality on children. To provide proper spiritual care, nursing staff can use techniques of therapeutic communication. This may support the child in their search of inner emotions and feelings, help coping with the spiritual crisis and provide proper spiritual well-being.
