Abstract
Trma je pomembna za razvoj otroka. Nastane kot otrokova reakcija na vzgojne zahteve odraslih. Otrok želi med odraščanjem okolje prilagoditi sebi. Otrok trmoglavi takrat, kadar se bori s svojimi željami ter z željami staršev in drugih. Kadar otrok začuti nelagodje, takrat se odzove s trmo. Trma je nekaj povsem normalnega v razvoju otroka, je nujna reakcija na vzgojne zahteve staršev, kateri ga želijo spremeniti in socializirati. Z razvojem trma izzveni sama od sebe. Do takrat je priporočljivo veliko vztrajnosti in razumevanja. Diplomsko delo z naslovom Soočanje s trmo pri predšolskem otroku s strani staršev je narejena iz dveh delov. V teoretičnem delu smo opisali, kaj je trma, kdaj se pojavi, reakcije ob izbruhih trme, povezanost trme s čustvi in temperamentom. Kakšno vlogo imajo odrasli pri soočanju s trmo, kako se odzivajo na izbruhe, ali otrokom postavijo meje. Teoretični del smo povzemali od slovenskih in tujih avtorjev. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili rezultate, katere smo pridobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki smo ga posredovali staršem predšolskih otrok. Podatke smo obdelovali s pomočjo SPSS. Zanimalo nas je predvsem, kako se starši soočajo s trmo predšolskega otroka, ali se starši v družini z več otroki lažje spopadajo z izbruhi trme, ali se otrok ob pojavu trme meče ob tla. Pri otroku se pojavi trma takrat, kadar ne dobi, kar želi. Dokazali smo, da starši ob pojavu trme otroku redko popustijo. Starši v družini, kjer je več otrok, se nič lažje ne spopadajo s trmo kot starši z enim otrokom.

Coping with a stubborn preschooler from a parent's perspective |

Stubbornness is essential in a child's development. It arises as a child's reaction to the adults' educational demands. As a child grows up, he wants to adapt the environment to his needs. A child is stubborn when he struggles with his desires and the desires of parents and others. When a child feels discomfort, he reacts with stubbornness. Stubbornness is completely normal in a child's development. It is a necessary reaction to the educational demands set by parents who want to change and socialize the child. With the child's development, the stubbornness disappears on its own, until then a lot of persistence and understanding are recommended. The diploma thesis entitled Coping with a stubborn preschooler from a parent's perspective consists of two parts. In the theoretical part, we describe what stubbornness is, when it occurs, reactions to outbursts of stubbornness, the connection between stubbornness, emotions, and temperament. What role do adults play in dealing with stubbornness, how do they respond to outbursts or set boundaries for children. The theoretical part is based on Slovenian and foreign authors' work. In the empirical part, we present the results, obtained with the help of a questionnaire, intended for parents of preschool children. Data was analyzed using SPSS. We were mainly interested in how parents deal with the stubbornness of a preschool child, whether parents in a family with several children cope with outbursts of stubbornness easier from parents with only one child, whether the child throws himself to the ground when the outburst occurs, does the child express stubbornness when he does not get what he wants. The results have shown that parents rarely give in when a child is stubborn, parents in a family with more children do not cope with stubbornness any easier than a parent with one child. |
