Abstract

V sklopu diplomskega dela je bila izvedena numerična analiza hidravličnih razmer v kolenu dimovodnega kanala termoelektrarne s ciljem ugotoviti upravičenost uporabe usmerjevalnih lopatic kot načina za zmanjšanje tlačnega padca. Analiza je bila izvedena za dva nabora obratovalnih parametrov termoelektrarne – garancijski parametri in parametri za zasnovo. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da namestitev usmerjevalnih lopatic v dimovodni kanal zmanjša tlačni padec za 73% v primeru garancijskih parametrov ter za 75% v primeru parametrov za zasnovo. Rezultati numerične analize so bili kontrolirani z uporabo empiričnih nastavkov za izračun koeficienta lokalnih izgub. V sklopu diskusije so navedene nekatere iztočnice za nadaljnje delo.

Secondary title: Numerical analysis of hydraulic conditions in the guide vanes area of a flue gas duct
Secondary abstract: In the scope of this diploma thesis, numerical analysis of hydraulic conditions in the flue gas duct was carried out to check the eligibility of installing guide vanes as means to decrease pressure drop. The analysis was done with respect to two sets of operating parameters – guarantee case and design case. It was determined that installation of guide vanes in an elbow of the flue gas duct reduces pressure drop by 73% for guarantee case and by 75% for design case. The results of the numerical analysis have been validated using empirical correlations for determining the minor loss coefficient. Cues for future work are also stated in the discussion segment of this diploma thesis.
