magistrsko delo
Abstract
To vse skupaj imenujemo start-up podjetniški ekosistem.
To smo storili s pomočjo osmih stebrov podjetniškega ekosistema in raziskave globalnega zagonskega zemljevida – »StartupBlink«. Le-teh v Sloveniji in Avstriji primanjkuje.

Supportive environment for start-up companies in Slovenia, Austria and Finland |
Secondary abstract: |
Start-ups do not exist and neither can they exist in some space. They are formed in a certain context as parts of economy. Entrepreneurs are found difficult to establish a company without any help of environment and other important factors in it. Every actor in this space has an important direct or indirect impact on start-ups. It’s important to be aware of, that every start-up has an outstanding meaning not only for local economy but also society as a whole. Everything invested in start-ups by individuals, supportive institutions, ministries or other companies has an impact on start-up companies. This, as a whole is called start-up entrepreneur ecosystem.
In the master's thesis, we are examining supportive environment for start-ups in three countries: Slovenia, Austria and Finland. We did this with the help of eight pillars of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the research of the global start-up map – “StartupBlink". We concluded that Finland stands out among the chosen countries in terms of the support environment and the number of start-ups. Namely, it has the largest number of the start-up companies, and they are not lagging in terms of the number of accelerators and incubators. Also, according to the latest research of the World Bank, "Doing Business" 2020 they are considered as the easiest state to open a new business in comparison to Austria and Slovenia. Finland is also the country with the largest number of outside investors. These are lacking in Slovenia and Austria.
We found that all three countries have in common that they have the largest number of start-ups in the field of data analysis and programming. In an interview, the director of the Slovenian company "Pharsol”, Miha Rajh, also pointed out that in Slovenia he focused on the lack of attention in a start-up companies, which is not exclusively "IT", digitally oriented.
The research that the “StartupBlink” is conducting, we have come to conclusion, that the Finland has the best start-up ecosystem. |
