Abstract
Uvod: Pandemija COVID-19 je prinesla pomembne spremembe v našem vsakdanjem življenju. COVID-19 je nezadostno pripravljenemu zdravstvenemu sistemu predstavljal nešteto izzivov. Izvajalci zdravstvenih storitev se soočajo z akutnim stresom na delovnem mestu, ki ga sestavlja visoka izhodiščna stopnja izgorelosti. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti pojavnost stresa in izgorelosti med zaposlenimi v psihiatrični bolnišnici v času epidemije COVID-19.
Metode: V raziskavi je sodelovalo 51 anketiranih zaposlenih v eni od psihiatričnih bolnišnic v Sloveniji. Za pojavnost stresa je bila uporabljena lestvica zaznanega stresa, za pojavnost izgorelosti na delovnem mestu pa Maslach-ov vprašalnik izgorelosti, Pridobljeni podatki so bili statistično obdelali s pomočjo računalniških programov Microsoft Office Excel in SPSS.
Rezultati: Ugotovljeno je bilo, da se stres pozitivno povezuje s čustveno izčrpanostjo (ρ = 0,700, p < 0,001) in depersonalizacijo (ρ = 0,380, p = 0,006), medtem ko se stres negativno povezuje (ρ = -0,459, p < 0,001) z osebnimi dosežki.
Razprava in sklep: Pandemija COVID-19 predstavlja nešteto izzivov za zdravstveni sistem. Izvajalci zdravstvenih storitev se soočajo z akutnim stresom na delovnem mestu, ki povzroča visoko stopnjo izgorelosti zdravstvenih delavcev. Učinkoviti ukrepi pri zmanjševanju stresa in izgorelosti so razne sprostitvene tehnike, ki nam pripomorejo, da dosežemo zadane cilje.

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has brought important changes in our daily lives. COVID-19 posed a myriad of challenges to an insufficiently prepared health care system. Healthcare providers face acute stress in the workplace, which consists of a high baseline burnout rate. The purpose of the study was to determine the incidence of stress and burnout among psychiatric hospital employees during the COVID-19 epidemic.
Methods: The study involved 51 respondents employed in psychiatric hospitals in Slovenia. The scale of perceived stress was used for the occurrence of stress, and the Maslach burnout questionnaire was used for the occurrence of burnout in the workplace.
