Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo se ukvarjali z algoritmi steganografije v rastrskih slikah. Opisali in implementirali smo metodo najmanj pomembnega bita, histogramsko metodo, metodo cik-cak, robno metodo in metodo spremembe stopnje sivine. Merili smo količino podatkov, ki jih lahko skrijemo, ne da bi izgled slike opazno spremenili. Za primerjavo originalne in stegoslike smo uporabili metriki PSNR in SSIM. Ob upoštevanju količine podatkov in popačenosti slike je najboljša metoda najmanj pomembnega bita z dvema bitoma, kot najslabša metoda pa se je izkazala metoda najmanj pomembnega bita s štirimi biti.

Secondary abstract: In this thesis, we considered steganographic algorithms in raster images. We described and implemented the following approaches: the least significant bit method, the histogram method, the zig-zag method, the edge-based method, and the grayscale method. We measured the amount of data to be embedded without noticeable distortion to the image. PSNR and SSIM metrics were used to compare the original and stego images. Considering the amount of data and an image distortion, the best method is the least significant bit with two bits, while the least significant bit method with four bits turned out as being the worst method.
