Abstract

Secondary title: Ergonomic analysis and comparison of workplaces in two print shops
Secondary abstract: Graduation thesis comprises analyses of two similar working places in printing houses (company A and B) that print magazines, newspapers, and advertisements. The goal of the graduation thesis is to test the work adequacy, analyze and compare both work environments, and gather more information about the possible workplace improvements. Both workplaces analyzed by hand, and with the help of the programming environment Jack, are tested with the observation method of body posture OWAS (Ovaco Working posture Assessment System). Based on acquired data of both workplace A and B, I concluded that, although the workplaces observed are very similar, they are also very different from each other. Not only do they differ in the organization of the working environment, but also in the difficulty of work, and ergonomic suitability.
