Abstract

Secondary title: Water temperature control with Mitsubishi workstation
Secondary abstract: The purpose of the thesis was to regulate the water temperature with a Mitsubishi workstation. My system is a PLC with a digital output, which switches the solid-state relay on or off, and consequently the heater heats the water through it. A Pt100 sensor is connected to the analog input module, which reads the water temperature. Initially, the system calculates the PID parameters itself, then heats the water to the desired temperature in the tank and maintains it. The regulation is accurate to ± 0.1°C from the desired temperature and does not go down or up when heated/cooled to the desired temperature. Everything is set and monitored via the HMI display and signaled at the industrial stack light.
