Abstract

Instagram je hitro rastoče družbeno omrežje, ki postaja vodilno na različnih področjih. Med drugim ga za samopromocijo uporabljajo grafični oblikovalci, ki izkoriščajo predvsem njegove kreativne funkcije. Namen diplomskega dela v teoretičnem delu je s pomočjo deskriptivne in analitične ter komparativne metode dela predstaviti teorijo samopromocije, spletnih družbenih omrežij, natančneje Instagrama in samo delo oblikovalcev v okviru slednjega. V empiričnem delu smo na temeljih teoretičnega dela in izsledkov analize Instagramovih profilov oblikovalcev ustvarili lasten profil na družbenem omrežju Instagram, kjer smo se osredotočali na samopromocijo.

Secondary abstract: Instagram is a fast-growing social network that is becoming a leading platform in various fields, including self-promotion by graphic designers who use its creative features to their advantage. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to present the theory of self-promotion, social networking sites, more specifically Instagram, and the work of designers within the framework of the latter, using descriptive, analytical and comparative methods. In the empirical part, based on the theoretical work and the results of the analysis of the Instagram profiles of the designers, we created our own profile on the social network Instagram, where we focused on self-promotion.
