Abstract

Diplomsko delo obsega predstavitev zgodovine ženskega krila – od njenega nastanka do pregleda razvoja kril v 20. stoletju. Predstavljene so osnove konstruiranja temeljnih krojev posameznih oblik kril, kot tudi poimenovanja različnih silhuet in dolžin kril. Praktični del zajema oblikovanje kolekcije šestih ženskih kril z inspiracijo v scenskih podlagah za risani film Trnuljčica iz leta 1959. Kolekcija ženskih kril je razčlenjena s konstrukcijskimi skicami in opisi modelov. Izdelana je kosovnica materialov ter predstavljeno konstruiranje in modeliranje krojev ter krojni deli za izdelavo prototipa. Rezultat diplomskega dela je žensko krilo, katerega inspiracija je predstavljena skozi fotografijo in razpravo.

Secondary abstract:	This diploma thesis contains an overview of the history of the skirt – a women's garment, from its beginnings to modern, 20th century designs. Also included are the basics of construction of skirt pattern designs. Presented are different types of skirts, skirt lengths and silhouettes. A collection of six skirt designs is presented, inspired by the original concept art for the 1959 animated film, Sleeping Beauty. Furthermore, technical drawings and descriptions for all skirt designs from the collection were carried out. A skirt design from the collection was used for sewing of prototype, for which the construction and modelling of pattern pieces and selected materials are presented. The result of this diploma thesis is a women's skirt, the inspiration of which is presented through photography and discussion.
