Abstract
Diplomsko delo obsega koncipiranje in preračun en meter dolge lopatice za majhno vetrno turbino. Oblika profila lopatice je pridobljena iz primerjav profilov za male vetrne turbine, ki so jih napravili strokovnjaki. Oblika lopatice je izdelana in optimizirana s pomočjo programa QBlade. Optimizacija je pri kratkih lopaticah zelo pomembna, saj ima velik vpliv na delovanje turbine. V programu smo izvedli simulacijo in pridobili karakteristike lopatice in sile, ki delujejo nanjo. S pomočjo sil smo v analitičnem preračunu, pokazali koliko moči prispeva posamezni segment. Koncept vetrne turbine je bil narejen za specifično uporabo vetrnice na jadrnici. Za izdelavo lopatice smo predvideli kompozit s steklenimi vlakni.

Concept and design of a small wind turbine for electricity generation |
Secondary abstract: |
The diploma work includes the design and calculation of a one-meter-long blade for a small wind turbine. The shape of the blade profile is obtained from the comparison of profiles for small wind turbines, which are made by experts. The shape of the blade is designed and optimized using the QBlade program. Optimization is essential for short blades, as it has a great impact on turbine performance. In the program, we runed a simulation and got the characteristics of the blade and the forces applied on it. With the use of forces from the simulation, we did the analytical calculation and found out how much power each segment contributes. The wind turbine concept was made for the specific use of a wind turbine on a sailboat. A fiberglass composite was envisaged for the manufacture of the blade. |
