Abstract
V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela smo predstavili področje matematike, matematiko v vrtcu, povezavo med matematiko in jezikom, nekaj besed smo namenili tudi matematičnim vsebinam v predšolskem obdobju. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili raziskavo o prepoznavanju matematike na fotografijah pri predšolskih otrocih. Za pridobivanje podatkov smo uporabili pol strukturiran intervju z vsakim otrokom posebej. Zanimalo nas je, ali otroci na fotografijah iz različnih področij prepoznavajo matematiko, kako občutijo matematiko na fotografijah in ali obstajajo razlike v prepoznavanju matematike na fotografijah med dečki in deklicami. V interpretaciji rezultatov smo podrobneje analizirali vsako fotografijo in ob koncu naredili primerjavo med vsemi fotografijami in primerjavo prepoznavanja med spoloma. Ugotovili smo, da so otroci matematiko na fotografijah dobro prepoznavali, najbolje pri fotografijah, vzetih iz družbenega okolja. Matematiko na fotografijah so otroci največkrat povezovali s področjem aritmetike, geometrije in merjenja. Pri večini fotografij razlik v prepoznavanju matematike med deklicami in dečki nismo zaznali.

Recognition of mathematics in photographs in the preschool period |
Secondary abstract: |
The theoretical section of the diploma thesis presents the field of mathematics, mathematics in kindergarten, the connection between mathematics and language, and says a few words about mathematical contents in the preschool period. The empirical section presents a survey conducted among preschool children on the recognition of mathematics in photographs. A semi-structured interview with each child was used to obtain data. The aim was to determine whether the children recognize mathematics in photographs from different areas, how they perceive the mathematics in the photographs, and whether there are any differences in recognizing mathematics in the photographs between boys and girls. The interpretation of results contains a detailed analysis of each photograph; in the end, all the photographs were compared, as was the recognition ability between genders. The research showed that children recognized mathematics in photographs well, especially in photographs taken from the social environment. The children most often connected the photographs with the field of arithmetic, geometry and measurement. In most photographs, no differences were found between girls and boys in recognising mathematics. |
