diplomska naloga
Abstract

Research Q uestion (RQ) : Research question is what is the optimum distribution of team roles. In the undergraduate diploma thesis a concrete team is analyzed. This team has its own specifics whic h were determined in the first phase and then analyzed. Purpose: The set challenge was to analyze the functionality of the team and to determine how to make this team even more successful. Thus, to propose a more optimal distribution based on the occ upied roles in a concrete team. Method: The objectives of the study were achieved using a q uantitative method , which included two pre - established questionnaire s. One questionnaire was a self - assessment and another was the assessment of the other members of the team. Results: Results are on the envious level because majority of the team roles according to Belbin`s classification are occupied in the team. Member s of the team also have potential to improve roles that are not so strongly presented. Organization: The undergraduate diploma thesis has an important influence on the concrete organization because based on the research results it will be possible to reor ganize the team in order to be even more successful. Society: A possible impact of this study will have on team members that will perform better both inside and outside the team as well as at the professional and private level. Originality: Originality of the research is that it includes an existing functioning team whose members are at different levels within a concrete organization. The originality is in recommending the o ptima l distribution of team roles. Limitations/Future Research : Rese arch was limited on a concrete team, within a specific time frame and at a specific place. All of the team members were included. For further research we propose to include interviews and observation of team members as well as feedback and discussions on the results. |
