e-izobraževanje in študija primera spletnih platform Coursera in edX
Abstract
V magistrski nalogi sem z namenom preučitve e-izobraževanja s pomočjo spletnih platform Coursera in edX analizirala literaturo in forume na omenjenih platformah za e-izobraževanje ter opravila intervjuja in anketo. Ugotovila sem, da je največja prednost e-izobraževanja odprava časovne in prostorske omejitve, medtem ko je največja pomanjkljivost slaba motivacija udeležencev za učenje. Ugotovila sem tudi, da je prevladujoč razlog za udeležbo na e-izobraževanjih cilj pridobiti novo znanje, čeprav je zadovoljstvo z e-izobraževanjem v primerjavi s klasičnimi načini izobraževanja nekoliko manjše. Prišla sem do spoznanja, da sta možnosti za izboljšavo učinkov e-izobraževanja izboljšanje vsebine izobraževanj s strani institucij in večja naklonjenost k sodelovanju s strani udeležencev. Z metodo Dex se je tudi izkazalo, da sta spletni platformi Coursera in edX zelo podobni, le malenkost boljšo oceno je prejela spletna platforma Coursera zaradi cenovne dostopnosti in večje raznolikosti pri učnih vsebinah.

In my master's thesis, in order to study e-learning with the help of online platforms Coursera and edX, I analyzed the literature and forums on the two mentioned e-learning platforms, while I also made interviews and online survey. I found that the biggest advantage of e-learning is the removal of time and space constraints, while the biggest disadvantage is poor motivation of participants to learn. I also found that the predominant reason for participation in e-learning is the goal to gain new knowledge, although the satisfaction with e-learning is slightly lower compared to traditional methods of education. The e-learning outcomes could be improved by improving the educational content by institutions and a greater willingness to cooperate by participants. Using Dex method it also turned out that the online platforms Coursera and edX are very similar, while Coursera was rated only slightly better, mainly due to affordability and greater diversity of learning contents. |
