Abstract

V vsaki panogi je ena od zahtev, s katerimi se soočajo vodje, stroškovna učinkovitost. Poleg tega se soočajo tudi z izzivi, kot so analiziranje stroškov in dobička, prilagodljivost pri soočanju z nenehno spreminjajočimi se poslovnimi zahtevami ter obveščanje o postopkih odločanja vodstva in spremembah v načinih poslovanja. Kadar nekateri izzivi zavirajo vodjo in zaposlene, pride v poštev rešitev načrtovanja virov podjetja. Rešitev ERP je sistem, ki združuje poslovne funkcije z upravljanjem in organiziranjem podatkov in informacij. Je najzanesljivejši sistem za upravljanje podatkov, ki zagotavlja njihovo zanesljivost, enotnost, preglednost in vidnost v celotni organizaciji. Organizacijam olajša vzdrževanje poslovnih podatkov in zagotavlja dostop do integriranih poslovnih informacij vsem članom organizacije. Njegov namen je olajšati pretok informacij med vsemi poslovnimi funkcijami znotraj organizacije in upravljati povezave organizacije z zunanjimi deležniki. Ustrezno upravljanje informacij pomaga organizaciji prihraniti stroške in povečati produktivnost. Pomaga tudi pri povezovanju organizacijskih enot, kar dodatno spodbuja proces komunikacije in takojšnjo izmenjavo informacij med člani organizacije, kar vodi k izboljšanju organizacijskih procesov in boljšemu sprejemanju odločitev na vseh ravneh. Uvedba rešitve, ki bi skrbela za potrebe tako proizvodnega kot tudi finančnega in kadrovskega oddelka, se zdi nemogoča. Različni oddelki imajo običajno individualno programsko opremo, ki je optimizirana za način dela posameznega oddelka. Pomembno je, da se zavedamo kompleksnosti uvedbe rešitve ERP. Tveganja in negotovosti so del uvedbe te rešitve v podjetje. Vendar pa se uspeh ne zgodi po naključju, temveč ga je v veliki meri mogoče načrtovati. Brez podpore najvišjega vodstva, ustreznega poslovnega načrta in vizije, preoblikovanja poslovnih procesov, učinkovitega projektnega vodenja, vključevanja uporabnikov ter izobraževanja in usposabljanja organizacije ne morejo v celoti izkoristiti prednosti tako zapletenega sistema. Da bo uvedba uspešna, je ključnega pomena, da upoštevamo kritične dejavnike uspeha. Magistrsko delo bomo razdelili na teoretični in praktični del. V teoretičnem delu bomo opredelili rešitve ERP, navedli njihove funkcionalnosti, prednosti in slabosti ter arhitekturo, zgodovino in trende. Predstavili bomo tudi pomen kritičnih dejavnikov uspeha uvedbe. Prav tako bomo navedli vodilne ponudnike in njihove rešitve na globalnem in slovenskem trgu. V nadaljevanju bomo podrobneje predstavili rešitev Pantheon. V praktičnem delu pa bomo analizirali potek uvedbe rešitve Pantheon v proizvodno podjetje.

Secondary abstract: In every industry, one of the demands facing managers is cost-efficiency. They also face challenges such as analysing costs and profits, being flexible to cope with ever-changing business requirements, and keeping upper management informed of decision-making processes and changes in business methods. When certain challenges hold the manager and employees back, the Enterprise Resource Planning solution comes into play. An ERP solution is a system that combines business functions with the management and organisation of organisational data and information. It is the most reliable data management system that ensures data reliability, uniformity, transparency and visibility across the organisation. It makes it easier for organisations to maintain their business data and provide access to integrated business information to all members of the organisation. Its purpose is to facilitate the flow of information between all business functions within the organisation and to manage the organisation's links with external stakeholders. Proper information management helps organisations save costs and increase productivity. It also helps to link organisational units, further enhancing the communication process and the immediate exchange of information between organisation members, leading to improved processes and better decision-making at all levels. It seems impossible to implement a solution that would take care of the needs of the production department as well as the finance and human resources departments. These different departments usually have individually tailored software that is optimised for the way each department works. It is important to be aware of the complexity of implementing an ERP solution. Risks and uncertainties are part of implementing an ERP solution in a company. However, success does not happen by chance, but can be largely planned. Without the support of top management, a proper business plan and vision, business process redesign, effective project management, user involvement and education and training, organisations cannot fully benefit from such a complex system and the risk of failure can be high. To meet our own definition of project success, it is essential to consider critical success factors in the implementation. The Master's degree will be divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, we will define ERP solutions, their functionalities, advantages and disadvantages, architecture, history and trends. We will also present the importance of critical success factors for deployment. We will also list the leading providers and their solutions on the global and Slovenian markets. Below we will present the Pantheon solution in more detail. In the practical part, we will analyse the implementation of Pantheon in a production company.
