Abstract
Delo se ukvarja z eksperimentalno analizo Ranque-Hilsch vrtinčne cevi. V delu je pojasnjeno delovanje vrtinčne cevi in kako se spreminja pretok na hladni in vroči strani. Postavljene so tri hipoteze. Prikazana je merilna proga, ki se je uporabila za izvajanje eksperimentov in metodologija meritev. V nadaljevanju je prikazana obdelava rezultatov meritev in problemi, ki so se pojavili pri izvedbi meritev. Nato je opisana karakteristika vrtinčne cevi. Tlak se je spreminjal od 1,5 bar do 6 bar po inkrementih za 1,5 bar. Rezultati kažejo, da je pri najvišjem tlaku hlajenje najboljše, dosežena je bila povprečna temperatura -14°C. Pri vseh tlakih je bila temperatura na hladni strani najnižja med dvema in tremi zasuki ventila ter pri šestih zasukih ventila. Najvišja dosežena temperatura na vroči strani je bila 57°C. Najvišja dosežena temperaturna razlika med hladno in vročo stranjo se je vedno pojavila pri enem zasuku, največja pa je bila 64°C. Hitrosti na hladni strani so bile največje pri enem zasuku ventila pri vsek tlakih, največja vrednost hitrosti je bila večja kot 15 m/s. V zadnjem poglavju so hipoteze ovrednotene, hkrati pa so tudi podane rešitve za zmanjšanje problemov pri izvajanju meritev.

The thesis represents an experimental analysis of Ranque-Hilsch vortex tube. There is an explanation of the working principles of vortex tubes and how the flow changes on the cold and hot exit. Three hypotheses are made. The measuring unit that was used for conducting measurements is shown and measurement methodology is explained. The processing of data gained from measurements and the problems that occurred during measuring are demonstrated. Vortex tube characteristics are discussed. Pressure was changed from 1,5 to 6 bar, with increments of 1,5 bar. Results show that cooling is the best at the highest pressure, minimum average temperature reached was -14°C. The lowest temperature at all pressures was achieved between two and three rotations and at six rotations of the valve. The highest temperature reached on the hot end was 57°C. The maximum temperature difference between cold and hot end at different pressures was always at one rotation of the valve, the highest being 64°C at 6 bar. The maximum velocity on the cold end always appeared at one rotation of the valve, regardless of the pressure. Maximum velocity reached over 15 m/s at 6 bar. The hypotheses are evaluated in the final chapter and some solutions are given for reducing problems that occurred. |
