diplomsko delo
Abstract
Diplomsko delo skozi Foucaultevo analizo mehanizmov nadzorovanja in discipline preučuje nastanek interneta, njegovo delovanje in nadzorovanje.

The Internet as a tool of state control and surveillance capitsalism |
Secondary abstract: |
The herewith diploma thesis examines the origins of the Internet, its operations and management aspects through Foucault's analysis of control, surveillance and disciplinary mechanisms. Through this approach it also tries to demonstrate synergy between state control and technology corporations. Moreover, it also wants to draw attention to contemporary issues and challenges arising from state control and from these corporate governance monitoring mechanisms that take place via Internet mechanisms and applications. The issue that is highlighted by the diploma in question is closely connected with the security and privacy of Internet users. The aspect above mentioned is joined by the issue of capital returns that have a negative impact on both the society and all the individuals and at the same time they also create a larger gap between the elite and the economically weak in order to maintain the existing system and status quo. |
