Abstract

V prvem delu diplomske naloge sem predstavila osnovne izraze, s katerimi poimenujemo ljudi z ovirami in sistem socialnega varstva na področju ljudi z ovirami. Obravnavala sem koncept neodvisnega življenja, ki ga obravnava Zakon o osebni asistenci. Predstavila sem Zakon o osebni asistenci in nalogo nadaljevala z opisom metode osebnega načrtovanja in izvajanja storitev. V empiričnem delu naloge me je zanimalo, kako je za uporabnike osebne asistence koristna storitev osebne asistence. To sem ugotavljala preko pripovedi uporabnikov osebne asistence. Pri tem so sodelovale tri uporabnice in dva uporabnika osebne asistence.

Secondary abstract: In the first part of the diploma thesis, I presented the basic terms used to name people with disabilities and the social protection system in the field of people with disabilities. I discussed the concept of independent living covered by the Personal Assistance Act. I presented the Personal Assistance Act and continued the thesis with a description of the method of personal planning and implementation of services. In the empirical part of the thesis, I was interested in how the personal assistance service is useful for its users. I found this out through the narration of personal assistance users. Three female and two male of personal assistance participated.
