Abstract

Diplomsko delo je iz področja potresnega inženirstva. Obravnava temo, ki je postala aktualna zaradi potresov v bližnji okolici, saj imamo v Sloveniji velik fond zidanih stavb, za katere lahko z veliko verjetnostjo predvidevamo, da je njihova potresna odpornost neustrezna. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh delov – teoretičnega in računskega dela. V teoretičnem delu so opisana splošna dejstva o potresih, potresnem inženirstvu, zidanih zgradbah in njihovim odzivom na potresno obtežbo ter sanacijskih ukrepih zidanih objektov. V računskem delu je izračunana potresna odpornost obravnavanega objekta s poenostavljeno metodo s strižnim porušnim mehanizmom; predlagani so tudi ojačitveni ukrepi in stroški njihove izvedbe. Izračunali smo tudi potresno odpornost objekta, ojačanega z dvema predlaganima ojačitvenima ukrepoma.

Secondary title: Evaluation of seismic resistance of a masonry building
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis is from the field of seismic engineering. It deals with a topic that has become relevant due to earthquakes in the vicinity, as we have a large fund of masonry buildings in Slovenia, for which we can with high probability assume that their seismic resistance is inadequate. The diploma thesis consists two parts – a theoretical and a computational part. The theoretical part describes the general facts about earthquakes, seismic engineering, masonry buildings and their response to seismic loads and reinforcement measures of masonry structures. In the computational part, the seismic resistance of the considered object is calculated by a simplified method with a shear failure mechanism; reinforcement measures and the costs of their implementation are also proposed. We also calculated the seismic resistance of the considered building reinforced with two proposed measures.
