Abstract

Secondary title: Implementation of the grid voltage oriented control of a three-phase converter
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis presents a simulation and experimental implementation of voltage oriented control on active rectifier. An active rectifier has the advantage of four-quadrant and unity power factor operation. The purpose of the diploma work is to control an active rectifier, while having minimal impact on the grid and being able to regulate the DC voltage to a certain value. A model of an active rectifier is derived and cascade control is presented with determination of the parameters for current and voltage control loops. The LCL filter parameters are determined for better attenuation of higher harmonic components. On the simulation model, a comparison of the operation with the RL and LCL filter is compared. Experimental implementation consists of basic RL filter.
