analiza učne motiviranosti na primeru Osnovne šole Kungota
Vito Lavrenčič (Author), Karmen Kolnik (Mentor)

Abstract

Secondary title: Comparison of students' motivation in online and traditional geography classes: ǂThe ǂanalysis of study motivation on the case of Kungota primary school
Secondary abstract: For the last two school years, 2019/2020 and 2020/2021, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, classes in Slovenian schools have been held in a hybrid manner, partly home-based, partly remote, and partly face-to-face, in classrooms. The modified way of carrying out classes has forced both teachers and pupils to accept the innovations in education and to adapt successfully, some were more, and some were less successful at the task. A major part of adapting to this type of teaching is the motivation of everyone involved in the process to try to achieve the intended learning objectives, regardless of the methods of teaching and learning. In this master thesis we focused on the motivation in geography lessons during the epidemic. We analysed the motivation of pupils in the lower secondary level of education (grades 6, 7, 8 and 9) at the Primary School OŠ Kungota, specifically, their motivation to participate, work and learn on the school subject. This was processed by carrying out a guided interview of a geography teacher at the Primary School OŠ Kungota (Part 1) and a questionnaire for pupils (Part 2).
