Abstract
Uvod: Ergonomija je proces oblikovanja ali razporeditve delovnih mest, delovne opreme in sistemov, tako da ustrezajo ljudem, ki delo opravljajo. Delovno okolje vpliva na kakovost dela, zadovoljstvo in zdravje zaposlenih. Zdravstveno osebje, zaposleno v enoti za sterilizacijo, je stalno izpostavljeno fizičnim, kemičnim in biološkim tveganjem, poleg dela v fizičnem okolju, ki je na trenutke neugodno. Vse to lahko privede do težav mišično-skeletnega sistema. Zato je oblikovanje delovnega mesta, poznavanje okoljskih tveganj ter preprečevanje nesreč v sterilizaciji ključnega pomena.
Metode: V raziskavi smo uporabili kvantitativno metodologijo s pripravljenim anketnim vprašalnikom za zaposlene v enoti za sterilizacijo, s katerimi smo pridobili informacije o težavah, povezanih z mišično-skeletnim sistemom pri zaposlenih. V drugem delu raziskave pa je uporabljena ergonomska ocenjevalna metoda REBA, s katero smo pridobili ocene tveganja za nastanek mišično-skeletnih obolenj pri zaposlenih v enoti za sterilizacijo.
Rezultati: Z analizo podatkov anketnih vprašalnikov smo ugotovili, da je kar 69 % anketirancev v preteklem letu imelo težave oz. bolečine v vratu, več kot polovica je tudi imela bolečine v ramenih, kar 81 % anketirancev pa je v preteklih 12 mesecih občutilo nelagodje oz. bolečino v križu. Na podlagi rezultatov, pridobljenih s pomočjo metode REBA, sodi delo v sterilizaciji v srednje tveganje za nastanek mišično-skeletnih obolenj.
Razprava in sklep: Raziskava je pokazala, da imata narava dela in delovno okolje v sterilizaciji velik vpliv na razvoj mišično-skeletnih obolenj pri zaposlenih. Potrebne so nadaljnje raziskave, ki bi zajemale vsa področja ergonomije v delovnem okolju v enotah za sterilizacijo.

The influence of the working environment and workloads on the musculoskeletal system of employees in sterilization |

Introduction: Ergonomics is the process of designing or arranging workplaces, work equipment and systems to suit the people doing the work. The work environment affects the quality of work, employee satisfaction and health. Medical staff employed in sterilization unit are constantly exposed to physical, chemical and biological risks, in addition to working in a physical environment that is at times unfavorable. All that can lead to musculoskeletal problems. Therefore, job design, knowledge of environmental risks, and accident prevention are key to safe work conditions in sterilization unit.
Methods: In the research, we used a quantitative methodology with a prepared questionnaire for employees, with which we obtain information on problems related to the musculoskeletal system. In the second part of the research, the ergonomic assessment method REBA was used, with which we obtained risk assessments for the development of musculoskeletal diseases in employees in sterilization unit.
Results: By analyzing the data, we found that 69 % of respondents had neck pain in the past year, more than half also had shoulder pain, 81 % of respondents felt pain in the lower back in the past 12 months. Based on the results obtained with the help of the REBA method, work in central sterilization is at medium risk of developing musculoskeletal diseases.
Discussion and conclusion: The research showed that the nature of work and the working environment in sterilization unit have a great influence on the development of musculoskeletal disorders in employees. Further research is needed to cover all areas of ergonomics in a sterilization unit work environment. |
