diplomsko delo
Abstract

Business influence of Bitcoin |
Secondary abstract: |
Bitcoin has been present globally since it's inception in 2009. Since then, it's visibility, applications, price and power have grown dramatically. However, despite the many advantages and improvements of existing financial systems, it has some shortcomings.
The aim of this thesis is to present Bitcoin's properties, mining and the technology behind the network. We will explore who is behind regulation around the world, what benefits it brings and how to invest for the long term. Also, we will explore the downsides of Bitcoin. We will focus on the weaknesses of volatility, security and the negative impact on governments and government organisations. We will also present current regulations around the world, as well as possible applications worldwide.
Finally, we will introduce the biggest competitor, Ethereum, and compare it with Bitcoin, and try to find out which of the cryptocurrencies has a better chance of mass adoption in the future. |
