Vpliv projektne pisarne na uspešnost projektov v projektno usmerjenem podjetju

Abstract

Projektna pisarna je organizacijska enota v podjetju, vzpostavljena z namenom krepitve profesionalnosti področja projektnega managementa in povečanja organizacijske zrelosti na tem področju. Projektna pisarna opravlja različne naloge, ki so odvisne od potrebe organizacije, znotraj katere je projektna pisarna vzpostavljena. Smiselnost investicije v vzpostavitev oziroma razvoj projektne pisarne je treba obravnavati iz različnih vidikov, saj se mora poleg finančnih učinkov upoštevati tudi druge, posredne učinke. V magistrskem delu smo snovali model za določevanje vpliva projektne pisarne na podjetje. S tem modelom smo določili vpliv projektne pisarne na uspešnost projektov konkretnega, projektno usmerjenega podjetja. Po interpretaciji rezultatov je očitno, da je vpliv učinkovite projektne pisarne na uspešnost projektov pozitiven.

Secondary abstract:	Project management office is an organizational unit within a company, established to strengthen the professionalism of the company’s project management area and improve organizational maturity level in the mentioned field. Project management office functions are different and depend on the needs of the organization, within which it is established. The reasoning behind investing in establishment or development of project management office must be considered from various aspects, as other, indirect effects must be taken into consideration in addition to the financial effects. In this master’s thesis, the model for determining the impact of a project management office on the company has been developed. This model was used to assess the impact of a project management office on a concrete, project-oriented company. After interpreting the results, it is evident that the effect of an efficient project management office on project performance is positive.
