diplomsko delo

Abstract

Secondary title: Analytical approach in studying the ergonomic principles of cockpit design
Secondary abstract: Ergonomics has a big role in creating workspaces nowadays. Companies which are aware of that tend to be more successful. If a company creates an ergonomical workspace, the workers are more pleased and do not have to put in a lot of effort to complete a job. All of this is reflected in market status and finance freedom. In the degree, we focused on the ergonomic analysis of the airplane cockpit. For analysis, three different ergonomical methods were used: OWAS, RULA and REBA. To analyse a pilot's working day, we used the OWAS method. Meanwhile methods RULA and REBA were used for analysing three unusual body positions, which were the most critical. That was followed by the analysis and examination of the results. The results show that the airplane cockpit is constructed ergonomically correct. Where the results were not ideal, some improvements were recommended. However, a drastic change for an even more ergonomically suitable cockpit would be challenging to execute, due to the lack of spacing in the airplane cockpit.
