Abstract

Neznani vzorec sem identificiral na podlagi že opravljenih meritev ter osnovnih podatkov o njegovi sintezi in izgledu. Za identifikacijo vzorca sem uporabil rezultate analiz različnih tehnik karakterizacije, kot so podatki o čistosti in topnosti vzorca, elementna CHN analiza, infrardeča spektroskopija, elektronska spektroskopija, meritve prevodnosti. Na podlagi rezultatov analiz sem zaključil, da je neznani vzorec (pyH)[MoCl4py2]. Iz podatkov, ki sem jih pridobil v CCDC bazi sem ugotovil, da sta znani dve polimorfni obliki te spojine. S pomočjo programa Mercury sem preučil njuni kristaln strukturi in pridobil izračunana difraktograma.

Secondary title: Characterization of the molybdenum coordination compound with pyridine and chloride ligands
Secondary abstract: I identified the unknown sample on the basis of preliminary measurments and the basic data of its synthesis and physical properties. To identify the sample, I used the results of the analyses of different characterization techniques, such as data on sample purity and solubility, CHN elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, electron spectroscopy, conductivity measurements. On the basis of the results of the analyses I concluded that the unknow sample is (pyH)[MoCl4py2]. From the data retrieved from the CCDC I established that two polymorphic forms of the compound are known. With Mercury program I studied their crystal structures and obtained the calculated diffractograms.
